The self-lubricating bronze bushing replace the original arm rear suspension bearings. The kit is dedicated for the 2 sides (2 rings per arm).
For Peugeot 106 and Citroën Saxo or Ax, these rings offer a larger use than the original bearing that ensure the arm consistency in the rotation. Avoid play and geometries variation due to failing bearings.
Fitting in arms by fix-bearings (afer) or sealed-bearings (loctite) imperative. It is not necessary to provide grease.
A user guide (fitting manual) is delivered with our bronze bushings pack. Thus, you will not find yourself in trouble during the fitting.
Warning: The bronze rings having to rotate freely without play, it will not work if the hoses of the beams of the car are damaged or have an arrow (twisting). In this case it will be necessary to replace them for new hoses.
Advice: In this case, use preferably original products. These products are also available in TRT COMPETITION range
Tip: When installing new bushings or bearings, replace the original seals to ensure water resistance and does not cause corrosion of the arm.
Peugeot references of the necessary seals (stabilizer bar models):
- inside (double seal with double lip): 513322
- outside (joint crossed by stabilizer bar): 517407
It takes 1 of each per side, or 2 of each for a complete kit
New production :
Concerned by giving available products to its customers and a consistent quality, TRT COMPETITION has set up a new manufacturing process.
The bronze used is a BP25 sintered bronze impregnated with a specific lubricant during the manufacturing (French Standard Production Metafram/Sintertech). Then they are re-tooled impregnated one more time in France (with the same lubricant).
